We are requesting donations of $5 to benefit Heal the Bay
Shade promises to bring you a groovy afternoon of deep house, soulful tunes and bumpin' downtempo from L.A. and surrounding areas' premiere group of DJs.
Noon to 9pm Sunday October 12 - LEAVE NO TRACE!
IMPORTANT: The sun sets at 6:30pm - we will continue to rock until 9 p.m. as our permit allows. BRING SHADE for the day, BRING BLANKETS & A FLASHLIGHT for the night, and BRING WATER.
ALSO IMPORTANT: Los Angeles beaches DO NOT allow dogs - bring them at your own risk!
ALSO SUPER IMPORTANT: Los Angeles beaches DO NOT allow alcohol - bring it at your own risk, but know that the fines run around 100 bucks PER OFFENSE/PER CONTAINER!

As such, you should don your disco duds and make your way to PORTUGALIA Restaurant and Pub in OCEAN BEACH on Friday, November 7th. Yer Carnie Uncle Saynt has been invited to join DANYAVAAD, DJ SANDBAG, and THE SHIMMY SISTERS for an evening of Middle Eastern & Indian Modern Fusion music and dance...
... And some of Saynt's cheeky house shenanigans.

Plays live original Middle Eastern flavored music featuring the electric sitar and tribal drum beats. They create an atmosphere of Middle Eastern lounge mixed with Indian vibes and rock.
THE SHIMMY SISTERS
Inspire with their bellydance performances. Their diverse show may include snakes, swords, candles, fire fingers, isis wings, glow hula hoops, and traditional bellydance props such as veils and zils.

STRAIGHTS AGAINST H8
A fundraiser for the InvalidateProp8.org legal fund.
Prop 8 has passed in California, an unfair and wrong discriminatory bill directed at the gay community. Guided by misinformation and blatant lies, many people who voted "yes" on prop 8 are just now realizing they took marriage away from tens of thousands of gay couples in our state and that education had nothing to do with the proposition.
Porter Tinsley, a long-standing pillar of the club scene, is calling the community to please show your support for the gay community this Tuesday at Zanzibar for STRAIGHTS AGAINST H8.
The proceeds will be donated to the InValidateProp8.org legal fund in the name of the Mormon Church President, Thomas Monson.
The cover is $10 and we will also be taking donations on site.
Porter Tinsley needs your help: please come support our night - the gay community is rallying all over the city, but this is YOUR chance to show your support.
