Ninja Skillz Los Angeles Presents:

. . . FABLE II . . .

A night of house, breaks and electro in a sensual location inspired by classical European architecture

The mist settles on the ground. The scent of aging wine and frightful times carry through the air. The FABLE's first chapter is complete but now is the time for all of the seductive spirits to resurrect themselves to devilishly good tunes.

This is a pre-halloween bash so dressing up is encouraged! Test out some of those outfits ;-)

Your Dancefloor Conductors for the night are:

Saadhu & Loomer
(Bass Ritual, Afterburn)

Eddie B.
(HAWT, Una, Compact Disco)

Joplin
(Deep-LA, Bacon Without Borders)

The Girls of Shade
(Porter Tinsley & divaDanielle - www.shadeparties.com )

Mark Zabala
(Ninja Skillz, Bacon Without Borders)

Erik Nelson
(Sapient Mongrel, Pirate Killz, Bacon Without Borders)

Free shot for the first 50 people through the door. Free CD to the first 100 people.

$10 all night! $5 before 11pm if you RSVP at:
http://www.ninjaskillz.net/guestlist

Located at The Medusa Lounge
3211 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90057

This is neither a trick nor a treat.

We have just been informed by Wolfie that the venue for the Pantheon Halloween event has just canceled without any hint or notice. He was putting together quite a spectacular event for Halloween featuring two of our very own Ninja Skillz DJs, Mike Insane and Sammy Bliss, along with many of our other incredibly talented friends.

As we all know, the types of events that our community throws with the type of creative vibe that we all strive for often requires looking outside of typical clubs and into venues that allow us to transform them into temporary autonomous zones where art, music, and good times rule above all else. With these venues, there is always the risk that things will not go as smoothly as we could plan.

Unfortunately, this is one of those times.

Wolfie has informed us that all presales will be refunded.

Here are the other alternate events happening that night.

Ecstatic Dance has landed in LA! Feel INSPIRED and come enjoy everything you love about dance clubs, without talking, drinking, long lines, velvet ropes, and club scene nonsense!

This is all about getting great exercise, freeing your mind and body, and connecting with yourself and with your community in a safe, healthy space.

If you want to just DANCE then this is the place for you. The fearlessness with which others leap, roll, strut, and be themselves gives you permission and courage to dance your pain, fear, anger and joy. Come roll, skip, prance, sashay, promenade, sweat and stretch - all without any judgment.

Our focus is community bonding, clean/healthy living, no judgment, and a safe place of RESPECT where you can be yourself in a big group setting.

The Rules of Ecstatic Dance:
1. No talking on the dance floor (plenty of room to talk off-floor)
2. Scent-Free, Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment
3. No photos or videos, cellphones quiet and out of sight
4. Respect the space and each other
5. Dance however you wish
6. You can dance alone, or with as many partners as you like. If you'd rather not dance with someone, thank them by placing your hands in prayer at your heart.

AT THE END OF EACH ECSTATIC DANCE SESSION, WE CONVENE IN A COMMUNITY CIRCLE FOR COOLDOWN, SHARING AND CONNECTION.

What to Bring:
1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself
2. A bottle of Water or other non-alcoholic beverage to keep yourself hydrated
3. A towel (most of our gatherings end up with a roomful of happy, joyful, sweaty people)
4. A chill attitude of respect and connection with yourself and others.

Ecstatic Dance will be held on TUESDAY NIGHTS, starting on October 27, 2009:
6:15 - 7:30pm Yoga (included in Entry)
7:30 - 10:30 Dance

THIS TUESDAY OCT 27 FEATURES KCRW'S JEREMY SOLE ON THE DECKS.
