Our buddies at Hipgeneis are throwing one helluva holliday shindig, while we won't be playing there we will be....playing there... if you catch my drift....
As the holiday season approaches, store shelves are stocked with wholesome toys,
and happy songs and pleasant games are suddenly everywhere. Behind the scenes,
however, this saccharine sweetness is not so innocent. Teams of subliminal broadcasters
tirelessly promote smiling cheer, while crack squads of Holiday Enforcement Agents
in red and green conduct merciless midnight raids against those guilty of crimes against
the seasonal spirit. Armies of workers mark suggestive toys in red marker,
"Unfit for Children", and "May Incite Lewdness".
Down the chute go the Oversexed Robogirls, the Naked Presidents trading card game,
and the plush stuffed animals equipped by mad design with razor sharp teeth.
Into unmarked crates go the jigsaw puzzles that form giant obscene tableaux,
and the marionettes with a will of their own. Exiled, they gathering in
an abandoned warehouse, the lost, the broken, the misbehaved...
the misfit toys brought to life by dreams of christmas.
